The short version: the app doesn't watch you, and I don't want your data.

The desktop app has no account and no telemetry. Your settings, equipment, session log and photos live in a folder on your own machine and never leave it.

The app talks to the internet for exactly three things, all optional: fetching a weather forecast for your saved coordinates, checking a Pro subscription key's status, and — for Pro's live narration — sending the engine's computed facts for the night (targets, numbers, conditions; nothing personal) to my server so the debrief can be written.

Turn the network off and everything but live weather and narration still works.

This website is hosted on Framer and uses its basic, cookie-less analytics — page counts, not profiles. Purchases are processed by Lemon Squeezy as merchant of record: they handle your payment details and email, and I receive your email address and order details so I can issue your key and help you when you write in. I don't sell or share any of it.
